Of course, as a Mac user, iMac, MacBook or MacBook Pro, surely you don’t only use it for typing, opening e-mail, graphic design, video editing but also for printing documents. If you want to print from a MacBook, for example, you must first install a printer on a Mac like a Windows user. You need to add a printer on Mac or connect a Mac portable computer to the printer. In general, most printers today still use a USB connection so that we can easily set the printer after plugging in the USB cable of the printer to Mac, reported from the Apple page. Unlike installing a printer on Windows, there are several vendors that do not provide bundles of printer drivers so we need to download and install Mac printer drivers manually. This is what causes some people to have trouble installing the printer on Mac OS X or macOS Sierra. In addition, there is also because Mac OS X that we use is not supported by the printer.

For those of you who use Bluetooth printer settings or with a WiFi connection, make sure the active wireless connection on the Mac device is used. Besides connecting the USB to Mac cable directly to install the printer on Mac, you can also use the printer sharing method from Windows to Mac or vice versa which will be discussed in the next article.
